So you don't know how it ended? :) Am I assuming correctly that you did not enjoy the first 15min of the movie? How about the music?
 
The music, yes I like Eddie Vedder. I don't recall exactly why I only watched fifteen minutes of the movie but it was probably because I found something more compelling to spend my time on. I already knew how it ended thanks to the promoters of the movie who include the ending in every description of the movie. It would be better if they did not do that. Do you think I should go back and watch it? :D

It's not a bad movie so if you found yourself with really nothing to do..... I enjoyed the music :D

I remember hearing about the movie, but why I never saw do not know. Will check it out though Alison. Love the cast, hope I am not disappointed.
 
I don't think you will be disappointed HD, some of the scenery shots alone are worth watching :D . I watched it a couple of years ago and just recently came across the music so thought I would share. It does make you think hard about the material world though. I honestly believe it is near impossible to survive on one's own in the wild with few amenities and no contact with fellow humans. If I remember correctly it was based on a true story but would have to look that up.
 
I've watched the movie. Not a bad movie to see. But it's one of those movies; if you're going to watch it, you should read the book first. I like the movie, but I can understand how folks would see the first 30 minutes of it as just plain weird.
My Mom bought me the book years ago. It is a true story. I can't figure why anyone would go into the Alaskan wilderness with only a .22 rifle?????
My wife bought the movie for me a few years after I read the book. Of course the movie is lame compared to the book, but I like the music too. AND, the naked chick ain't bad either
