If you're tired of the constant, repetitive coverage of the STL craziness, here's a little info.

I saw my mechanic buddy, Jay, today and talked to him for two hours at the service center he works at here on the IL side approx. 20 min east of downtown STL. Jay grew up in Florissant MO, only minutes from Ferguson, and knows the area very well. Here's some bullet points without me writing a book on this.

-- Jay's wife is a paramedic and was in Ferguson all night attending to all types of injuries from a protestor taking a tear gas shot straight to the head down to minor cuts and bruises. He told me she got off her shift at 6am this morning and had to clock right back in at 9am for her regular shift.

-- One of Jay's best friends is a Ferguson firefighter. He was on the engine ladder manning the hose trying to put the fire out at the Little Ceasers. "Protesters" cut the hose and even shot at the firefighters that were trying to exstingish the fire. That is why no other fires were being attended to by firefighters. It was too dangerous.

Even though this thread might get the ax anyways, I know the other things I could share would definitely shut it down, so i'll just leave it at this for now. Please pray for the city of St. Louis. There is good and evil everywhere, always has been. I am a firm believer that for things to get better, sometimes things have to get worse. I pray for the Lord to watch over the men and women tonight and every night that are out there protecting the general public.

I remember rioting and looting in Miami when I was kid. My grandparents lived 4 blocks from all the "action" but never were harmed in all the years they lived there. Liberty City in Miami was 99.9% black/ african american and my grandparents were the only whites/caucasians .. I went to school with the children of the rioters and told them that I thought it was really stupid that their people were trashing their own neighborhood. I said if it were me and I was mad at someone I'm NOT going to trash my stuff I'm going to trash the person I'm mad at stuff. They agreed completely. Never really had much after my generation grew up. At least not to the same caliber. Hopefully Ferguson and other places will realize how ridiculous this is and I can't wait to here them complain about how high their taxes are going to be when the dust settles.

the ones doing it don't pay taxes--- they actually get tax money back and never pay a dime. they are scum of the earth
