Injection Mistake

Help Support CattleToday:

Much is going to depend on what it was. There will be benefit from most. Not as effective but still beneficial. Some they simply go Sub Q to prevent damage.

As far as infection response, don't think it will matter. 30 years ago most everything was given IM. We've gone to sub q mostly for meat quality reasons as IM can cause some muscle tissue damage that has to be trimmed at slaughter. Think there are a few vaccines that are still labeled for IM only for some reason but most injectables are now labeled for sub q.
