Info on two metal signs

These signs are about two feet long one foot tall at least 1/4 inch thick. The word Buckeye is on top very large under that is Findley, Ohio ( Yes I know Ohio is the buckeye state).

Would these have been cover plates on apiece of machinery
like a threshing machine or aybe a corn binder

They were made into a welding table in the late 1940's or early 1950's in north Missouri.


Just wondering if anone had any idea
