this lil heifer thought she needed to be in the feed trough to eat :lol: I thought it was pretty funny, not something i see everyday. luckily i was by the office and was able to grab the camera before she got out.

The neighbor had a big dumb Holstein bull that would do that. He had to throw out the ploy troughs and go with concrete. Bull busted the bottoms out of the others.

One of my calves did that one day to a home made wood feeder that I had built. It never looked the same. :x :lol:

BTW, our @#!%&^! goats do that all the time, they're not happy unless they are on top of something
 
When we were breaking the steers for this year (i don't have my steer anymore, I gave him away saturday :( ) we fed them all in a trough, and there was one calf that would actually lay down and SLEEP in it! I wish I had taken a picture, it was cute.
