Sounds like i will be looking at a Milwaukee. Which company has the best prices? I actually can do Black Friday but would almost pay more to avoid it.

Milwaukee is the most expensive. I've never had an issue with my Dewalt or Makita tools, so sometimes I question if Milwaukee is actually worth the extra. But you can feel the difference with fit and finish. Whether that means its worth more is up to each person I guess. Home Depot has some good sales on Milwaukee from time to time, and they’ll ship it to you for nothing.
Yep, you’ll forget what you paid for it after the first tire change.

I have a Hitachi 18v and a 20v Masterforce a Menards brand. So far I can't complain about either.
Cousin and I both have one, just a basic gear pump. He's a mechanic and uses it to pump the antifreeze out of tractors into drums/buckets before working on them, and then again to put it back in them. He'll also put a couple 55 gallon drums on the back of his truck and fill them up at the station in town with offroad fuel, then use it to pump the fuel into his tank for the furnace. Said just be sure to flush out the pump good afterwards.
If you decide on a Milwaukee impact, just make a note of the model number you want and either put a Post-It note on your computer or save it in your favorites. Then search the item number at Home Depot about once a week til they put it on sale.

They say the new Milwaukee is really awesome. It has a “smart” setting and “ knows what the bolt needs” . If money isn’t a huge concern I would get a Milwaukee. After you buy a couple batteries the tools aren’t much more than the rest of them and they are better. If you are mostly concerned about value for your dollar, makita seems to be the brand.

I've been very pleased with both the high torque Milwaukee impacts I have. 3/8" and 1/2", bought several years ago after using hand tools on the combine while the shop mechanic zipped parts off left and right. Tough too, I've dropped them on concrete, beat them up getting shoved into places while standing on your head and the batteries last an extremely long time. If out in the field and the 1/2" gun won't break something lose then I automatically get the 3/4" ratchet set complete with cheater pipe because I know things are pretty much seized in place.

Wife bought me a 20v Milwaukee set some years ago - drill, impact driver, flashlight, sawzall, skilsaw. Impact driver was nonfunctional right out of the box, but I'd never used one, so I wasn't concerned... I was still working full time, so I didn't get around to filing a claim with Milwaukee for a couple of years... of course, by then, I had long-since lost the receipt.
Sent it in for evaluation, and they were gonna charge me more to 'fix' it than a new one would cost, so I just bought a new one to replace it. Don't know how I ever functioned without it. There's no power tool that I use more. Driving deck screws, changing tires, changing out lawnmower blades, you name it.

Yeah, the impact driver is amazing. The one with the quick release chuck sure saves the wear and tear on the regular style chucks. And it's nice to be able to get drill bits with the hex base so they can be used in either chuck.
After I bent my cheater, I came up with this and it is awesome. A torque multiplier.

Once in a while you can find a deal with a large impact and a small one, or an impact driver. I won a Milwaukee 12v 3/8” “stubby” impact years back in a baseball raffle. Its the single best tool I’ve ever owned, it gets used nearly every day. Weighs almost nothing and fits about anywhere. Doesn’t matter if I have to loosen one bolt or screw down metal roofing, its all I need.
I checked it out and I'd like one too. Basically the same thing but the cheapest one appears to be the 1/2" at $915 and the 3/4" at $2100.
Here looks like a good package (2 5ah batteries) on special now. Might watch and it gets cheaper on Black Friday store pick up or order. The package is $579 everywhere else.
