I'm new and have a question

brangus ios very popular in your part of the world. they have great mothering ability,are heat tolerant and produce angus quality meat. just my 2 cents worth

I would have to say brangus as well. I have angus and brangus. My angus cows have a slightly better disposition (for the most part, I have a few brangus cows that think they are pups), but it isn't enough better looking at all the insect problems and the heat. My brangus out edge my angus on performance.

Go to http://www.pauscattle.org and check out the Piedmontese breed. They are hardy in both hot and cold climates and have amazing beef. They are the low fat low cholesterol breed. They make great crosses too.
