2.5" and it is still coming down hard. Wohoo! I just finished seeding 80 acres to wheat for forage next spring. And, the fescue will grow now. We are in high cotton.

Indianapolis is building a fine new retractable roof stadium to be named "Lucas Oil Stadium". The restrooms were a subject of debate, and there will be a 2-1 female/male ratio of "Lucas Oil Cans".

There seems to be some kind of green stuff in my yard and pasture. Not sure what it is. Maybe some kind of fungus from all of this rain. :o Had to get my rubber boots out this week for the first time since June.

My neighbor sold all of his cows and then sold his hay for $55 a round bale. Another neighbor bought a semi-load of alfalfa in round bales from up north and rebaled them as small squares. He got $7 a bale and could have sold 5 times as much.

The last time we got that stuff that you all call rain, I pulled this lever on my truck, and there was this thing that said 4X4 light up on my dash. I asked my dad what that orange thing on my dash that read "4X4" stood for, because I hadn't seen that in such a long time. LOL. :D

Too bad the rain didn't last. I don't mind using 4 wheel if it's the first rain we get in over a month. We got enough to wet the road yesterday, but not enough to help.

It was coming down so hard here yesterday that you had to use the things you normally use to clean the dust off your windshield just to be able to see. I hope they are designed to be used that much.
