I'm Excited

My mom is one of those people that is always calling in to the radio stations for their giveaways. She usually is the lucky caller. This time she won tickets to the Canadian National Polo championships in Calgary on Sunday. So she called me (I'm the horse nut in the family) and we are going. Not sure who else she will bring since she won 4 tickets.

On top of it all, I had declined, since hubby's family is having a reunion this weekend, and I thought I had better stay for it. But he told me to go ahead. The reunion will be pretty much over by Sunday anyways so I won't miss too much.

The only thing that would make it better was if it were tickets to Spruce Meadows,

Spruce Meadows is pretty good. My better half does the honor guards and parades in the ring between events there with her horses so we go to every one. We're the western riding people so we stand out :lol: . September's always the best one though because they have the trade fair with all the horse stuff you could imagine.

Have fun! My nephew worked at the polo club for awhile. He had some interesting stories to tell.
