So after being on a two-Three month hiatus from the interweb. I'm back!
There is so much that happened have no idea where to begin. So I guess I'll begin at....
ALICE IS PREGNANT!!!!! I'm sooo happy, she is three months along and I cant wait. We went to two fairs recently. Hopkinton (the 100th anniversary) and Stratham. Each had its ups and downs. I made new friends at Stratham and Alice has beaten the biggest dairy in the state at least three times already and their cows are bigger then her. We moved (thus the no internet) and we are building a barn for Alice so we can bring her home. Hopkinton was not as great I was sick from the weather and the back to school plague which has been going around the school for awhile now. And got in a fight with my boyfriend cause I was feeling horrible (trying to fix that). It was at least 40 at night and 90 during the day. I had to change three times a day to keep up with the temperature. Fit and Show sucked. I need to improve on that my clip job is disgusting. I am mentoring a new be who is 9 and adorable with her little jersey. I started Coe-Brown Academy and am signed up for ffa and an Ag tech course. I was forced to take computer literacy class which is living h@#l cause who in the world needs to know every single part of the computer. Made friends with the sheep people at Hopkinton which is like tom and Jerry becoming friends.

You're going to keep your pregnant daughter in a BARN?????

ALICE is a Holstein heifer, We have following this young lady's show career for some time now. She is still in highschool.

Ya, I knew it was something like that but it wasn't clear in her original post. Good luck with the birth of your grand daughter ;-) .

Great to hear from you! You DO sound busy. What fun to finally have Alice at home in her own barn. Bet that you can not wait for that baby to arrive. I am sure that they will be pampered. :D

 Alice has sure grown!
I think that part of your clipping trouble might be your clippers. They are not making a very smooth cut. What kind are you using on her face? And are the blades SHARP??
Certain areas I go with the hair and other areas I go against the hair.

I use a small clipper I'd have to check the brand. I did not have a chute to clip her in so I had to do the best I could tying her to a fence. We had a little battle with that.

She should get better about clipping. Mine actually enjoy it. (Like a massage!)
Make sure that your clippers stay clean and sharp to give you a smooth cut. The spray cleaner/lubricant used on the blades several times while you are clipping helps a lot with that. You can also send your blades off to be sharpened for a small charge.

So. i got first in breed class and third in junior champion. Last in fit & show. My boyfriend dumped me a couple weeks ago cause he is an a$$ so my "friend" decided to play matchmaker and forced me to go on a date with the most feared senior in my school. While this senior apparently loved me a lot more than i liked him and would not leave me alone the entire fair. i could not work up the nerves to tell him to go away because apparently he is also my neighbor. He came back every day and made me feel so weak. he did everything for me and even convinced me to hold his hand when I had to climb over fencing or something. i hated it so much I was not able to hang out with any of my friends. i really thought I was ready for another relationship but not with a guy like him. Hopefully next fair will be better. Only one more to go.
