Well I decided to give CT another whirl  . I took some time off, AI'd several cows, doctored my horses for sweet itch, primered and painted several gates and took a vacation. I spent several days out in Idaho on my sister and brother-in-laws ranch cutting alfalfa, trapping gophers on their pond dams, shooting whistle pigs, fishing, shooting my brother-in-laws .50 caliber sniper rifle  and cruising the Owahee desert calling coyotes and doing some metal detecting at old mining sites. Major decompression and I needed it. I may post some pics soon.

I want to thank everyone that stood up for me and posted messages and pm's supporting me in my tiff with the moderator. I also appreciate the untold number of support emails that I recieved. After alot of thought and ruminating over leaving CT I felt that there was many more on here for me than against me and that I owed it to them to be here to offer support if they get in the same situation.

I look forward to participation again on CT.

Just shows you can;t believe or trust anything anymore!

dun,

I've explained why I returned. If my behavior were a pattern then I could understand why I would not be believeable or trustworthy. If you feel that my credibility is now zero that is ok with me. I am not dependent upon your opinion of my credibility to define my self esteem anyway. If I took your post out of context please accept my apology in advance.

welcome back hoss.

sounds like you enjoyed your time off.

shot a fifty cal sniper rifle....sounds like fun.

Boy it brought back some old memories of the Barret M82 from my military days. It is an LAR Grizzley single shot. He has a 20x Leupold scope on it. We shot 5 gallon buckets of water at 1,000 yards and a 55 gallon drum of water at 1,500. We really had fun when we took it to a prarie dog town on some leased land where they run about 400 head of black hided cows. The prarie dogs had gotten out of control and where digging up the pastures. We shot it off of the back of his flat-bed truck using an Outers varmint rest with the built in swivel seat. We set up about 400 yards off and shot about 100 rounds out of it. At 4.50 per shot that can get pricey but seeing a whistle pig get hit with a 750 grain bullet was a hoot. We switched to a .17 HMR and a .204 Ruger and moved up closer for all day plinking. We thinned the population down quite a bit. I got sun burned but it was worth it.

Glad you are back- its alot easier to take grief from someone(s) if you know there are alot more people that want you around. Problem is that the ones that give grief are alot more noticeable than the ones that quietly like having you around.
I wonder too if I should just leave- I get some new ideas or info every now and again off of here, but probably not enough to be reading thru everything. If people aren't getting anything off the things I post, being here is probably a waste of time for me.
of course it is :cowboy: ,,but ive learned a fortune on here, that would take years too learn the hard way
