Igenity results?

I did some dna testing with igenity and I want to post these results on this one calf to see what anyone who has done much of this testing thinks of it. Rib eye is the weak spot, but the rest are pretty consistent and I am one of those people who think they can see a pretty good rib eye through visual appraisal anyhow, so to me the dna result for a visually recognizable trait isn't quite as important. Are these good relative to the beef industry or bad or average or what, any informed opinions would be appreciated. The scale is 1 to 10 with 10 being most desirable.

I met one guy a copule oyears ago that could tell you the RE on a hog within about 1/4 inch. I'm not that old but I've yet to find anyone that claims they can do it (and prove it). You ight be able to guess pretty close on the width at the top but not the depth or shape overall.

Any first semester college cattle evaluations student ought to be able to give you a pretty close answer. When I attended the University of Nebraska in the early 80's we did it regularly. We scored the classes and the calves were slaughtered and we evaluated the carcasses..it wan't rocket science then or now. Aren't you the same guy who can't evaluate a bull without seeing the rear view? Seems a bit ironic that you can't accept visual appraisal for rib eye, but you can't judge a bull without a rear view.
