Hello again and thanks to all that have helped me make more informed decisions. I got this grass thats seems to be spouting up everywhere very prolifically and our cattle are chomping on it. Just not sure what it is and and or how healthy it is. Can any one identify thisIMG_2670.JPG

The 2nd one is the same grass I asked about a couple months ago. It is as 82vette said, bluestem. Most likely King Ranch Bluestem & it's all over my part of Texas this year due to the unseasonably heavy rains we got 4th of July week. The seeds have always been here; it just took the right combination of weather to get them sprouted. It's a perennial, so it will be back next year too if there is sufficient rainfall for it. It is very drought resistant tho, and just sits there during dry years, roots underground with a slight crown above ground. TXDOT used it for years all along roadsides to prevent erosion, so it's not King ranch's fault it became 'the weed that consumed Texas'.

I'm pretty sure the first two pictures are bahia grass. Some people hate it, but cattle like it.

No clue on the other one.
The other is a crab grass species, I have a pasture full of it along with the Bahia you mentioned.
I forgot what variation the county agent called it.
Here’s a picture of it when it first showed up here along with two extinct clumps of smut grass.
