Time to time I hear the comment "take it to Ranchers". I do wonder why, because I do go there from time to time. There was a time when there were some lively discussions there. Good information was shared over there too. Now, you will be talking to yourself. There just isn't hardly anyone there these days.

The bullying was so bad by a few it has virtually killed the board.
It became cliques attacking until they ran everyone off.
Wouldn’t surprise me it’s shutdown.

I understand how things are on ranchers and how they got that way. It is not like a bunch of western ranchers are afraid to say what is on their mind. Or that they are opinionated. I have been both here on CT and on Ranchers since before you had to register.

Yeah... it appears nobody's been in there since February except flounder....real rough bunch I tell you. Maybe you should start exiling folks to there.

Didn't you and I have a shoot out over there before we became best buddies?

The Administrator/Moderators do an unbelievable job. No one would disagree that Cattle Today is predominantly a Christian/Conservative culture. As such, it has been my observation that any views outside that culture have historically been greeted with rude response. In almost every case, the result is name calling and insults. Anyone with a vision of a cattle site that has broad and even international appeal would be wise to hold a tight rein on this behavior. IMO that is why Cattle Today is a success.

In case you haven't noticed, most folks that own cows aren't marching in the Gay Pride Parades this month.

TT, here you are again calling names. ;-)

I was just being observant and expressing my gratitude. You would do well to watch and learn.

I apologize, you are correct, brown-noser is unfair and I should not have been so cavalier in my assessment of the situation.

You're acting like a sycophant.

Better?

:lol2: First time I've heard it called that.

Wonder who has flagged the most posts on CT.

That would be very interesting to know. My guess is they don't live the US of A.

I wouldn't bet on that, but I suppose where they live is a moot point.
Most locked, deleted or partially deleted threads that we have seen, would no doubt have eventually been discovered by a Mod no matter what.
I can usually see which threads are going to end up being locked myself, just by paying attention to who is posting in them. Some folks just can't change their spots.

Out of the two in the US that I figured were rats, one doesn't post much anymore. And the other said he doesn't flag post, but he also said he wasn't coming back on CT if he got banned again. ...and he's back. Some of the best threads were when CB and TB would go at each other using their perception on how certain history events unfolded. I'd have to do a Google search just to see what the heck they were debating.
