That red sow was old and bad to the bone mean.
I have lost count on how many this year.
Nope I’m over 200 this year.I know for years you have killed a lot of them. Are the numbers ever much less?
Can you use a "Judas" pig trained to lead feral hogs into a trap? I suppose that would be labor intensive, but just curious if anyone has ever tried it.Nope I'm over 200 this year.
Got a trap wise big boar that I'm going to set a leg throw snare for.
Only way to get him or sit up all night with a thermal.
I think it goes ....you have to kill 60% of the population to stay evenDidn't you once say that you had to kill over 100 just to stay status quo on numbers? Seems like it is getting to be higher than that...
80% to stay even, maybe.I think it goes ....you have to kill 60% of the population to stay even
Homeless people don’t have the guns to kill them (usually) or the place to store the meat….most of the big ones are inedible, but need killing to keep the numbers in checkWhy do we have a food shortage and hungry people?
The homeless need to learn some skills. Like wild pig processors, BBQ skills.
I know they are not great tasting but it's better than starving...
Yes. I have talked about doing it on a couple forums. We trapped a big boar and fed him for a while. Then we roped him and moved him to the cattle pens. From there I let him out. He would be back in the trap the next night with a pile of pigs. We would shoot out every thing but him, or rope him again, and turn him back out.Can you use a "Judas" pig trained to lead feral hogs into a trap? Yep you do.Didn't you once say that you had to kill over 100 just to stay status quo on numbers? Seems like it is getting to be higher than that...
If you have 100 you have to kill 80 to stay at 100..Didn't you once say that you had to kill over 100 just to stay status quo on numbers? Seems like it is getting to be higher than that...
My nephew lives south of Tyler. While cussing and discussing pigs on Saturday , he said they've come in and rooted up the athletic fields at his kids' schools.I am battling them like crazy here. They have literally torn up 50 acres of mine. Not a square inch they haven’t rooted up. Game cam says between 10 and 4 am. Tough to be there on time, they have torn up my office yard as well and it’s down town across from all the car dealerships. They don’t care they are everywhere here. Also in E Texas caustic
