That diluter gene in the Char is stout.
She is half Char/Brimmer cross both her calves out of an Angus bull have been blue. I wish I had a pasture full just like her she must give pure cream for the pounds she packs on her calves.

I also have two or three of those types but their calves are a little lighter. They are ghost like. In the winter when the grass is all dead they blend in so much they are hard to even see. Some sale barns will discount them (not sure why) but they do fine in OKC when mixed with the rest of the black hided calves.

Cowman it is a stout little booger.
Bird the smokes aren’t docked here pretty common color through the barn.
Lot of Char/Brimmer cross cows in this part of the world.

She will scare you to death if your not paying attention. On more than one occasion she has eased up behind me working and lick me.
