Have any of you do anything so stupid, so completely dorky, that you just have to laugh at yourself and hope noone else saw (or heard)?

I did, and I hate to say this (and I don't want to admit it, but since this is a "human stupidity" thread, I will), but THEE most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me was when I sneezed....and farted at the same time....in the middle of class!! :help: :help:

Other than that, I've jumped off a swing and knocked myself out, rode me and my bike into a rose bush (ouch!), and a bunch of other things.

Your turn. ;-)

When I was four years old living in Alabama, I stood on a fire ant nest. You only do that once if your even dumb enough to do it at all.

Born and raised in the city till 5 years ago. (keep this fact in mind, it will help to explain my stupidity). I worked at a radio station for 5 years as a dj. The AM dj always came and did the sports and market report for me on the FM side. He was gone due to his mother being ill. I managed to muddle through the sports, and was stammering along with the grains and livestock. "pork bellies up....?" (They have the cows listed as whole why pig parts?), then the "slaughter sheep", and "eeewiees". Yes, I sounded it out! Ewe. "E- we". We recieved many calls that day from farmers wanting to know "what the _____ is an E-we?" Yes I am blonde! I think Eu would be better spelling for that word.

One weekend in college after thinning my blood pretty well, I got a hankering for some bbq ribs. Went to the freezer in the Animal Science dept and grabbed up "a side of ribs" and began cooking them before they were fully thawed and inspected. Several hours later instead of having a three foot slabs of ribs it shrunk to about a foot long or so. Lesson learned - never bbq a pork belly!

Just the other day I backed the pickup into our tire waterer and SOMEHOW the bumper got stuck up there with the tirres lifted up off the ground. :?: ;-)
