How long does it take for a cow to dry up if calf doesn't suck? Had calf that wasn't able to suck (see sick calf from 3/2) and after a little bottle feeding ( a weeks worth) he is now sucking some from momma. Do you think she will start to produce again? I am still offering him the bottle but he drinks only a little of it.

Two weeks is getting a little long, but go by the calf. If he acts like he doesn't need the bottle then he is probably getting enough from mama. What does her udder look like? I think that as long as she wasn't totally dried up she will come back into her milk.
 
It appeared he was getting some milk. I guess the question is just one that I thought I needed to know for sure....TY :dunce:
