? - How long in milk

What is the longest you have had a cow still have milk after losing a calf? Situation. Cow lost her to pneumonia Friday(4/28) and we had a cow have twins last night. I would like to graft a twin onto the cow that lost her calf, but I'm not sure if she still has milk. I will see tonight after work.

She should still have milk ,definately give it a try after the calf has had sufficient feedings of colostrum.

Well, the cow never accepted the calf so she never came back into her milk. My 8 yr old daughter now has a bottle calf to raise.
