How long does it take for a cow to dry up? I know with people or myself ;-) it was less than a month. Our cow has been dry for almost a month and still seems to have quite a bit of milk sloshing around in her bag. She is a jersey.

It wilol never completely recede. It will alwasy look like ther is something in it. As long as it sin;t tight I would consider her dry. Cows with fatty udders sometimes look like they need milking even when dry.
