Beautiful hills of Giles County, TN
We always have a special program at our National Guard Armory at 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, then at 12:00 adjourn to the American Legion Post #60, "House on the Hill" we call it, and serve about 25 gallons of beef stew at our "Annual Veterans Serving Veterans Stew". We served about 350 to 400 Veterans and their families. It was great!
God Bless our Troops, Yesturday, Today and Tomarrow!

I recieved this link today and thought I would pass it along to you.

In our area of Montana, our local chapter of the Marine Corps. League hosted a dinner on Friday at the VFW in Polson MT celebrating both Veteran's Day and the 231st birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
Services with a color guard provided the local VFW's were held at our local cemetary and concluded with a community dinner at the VFW in Ronan, MT...
Nice link.. Thanks! Semper Fi! God, Country, & Corps.

That's the only day of the year I put on my dress blues and just walk around the house thinking of how much fun it was and pray to God for the safety of our men and women and thank him for the brothers in bagdad!

I was at the Horn Showcase sale in Ft. Worth. A young lady ( I don't remember her name) sang the National Anthem and blew everyone away. Wow, what a voice??? And we were reminded of our veterans and how thankful we should be for them.
