When it comes to college sports, don't confuse your team names -- especially among division-rivals. National-retailer Target is apologizing for a fashion blunder involving a university located just around the corner from the company's headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

On Sunday, a photo surfaced on Twitter showing a University of Minnesota-themed onesies on sale at a Twin Cities area Target store. While the state, colors and block "M" were perfectly on point, the same couldn't be said about the nickname on display.

A pile of 49'ers 2020 Super Bowl victory merchandise was made prior to the game. After the loss, it was subsequently shipped to one or more impoverished regions of the world. Can't see how or why, but I guess there might be value in that to somebody if it was retrieved.

Minnesota laid the ground work to be a competitive team in the future and with a serviceable QB would be this year. Without decent QB play they don't stand a chance against Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, Ohio State. Don't be surprised if Fresno State beats them.

Maryland, Nebraska, and Illinois are their best bets at conference wins. And that's assuming A-Magic isn't magic. If Pigrome is healthy and A-Magic is decent they are in for a particularly rough season.
