How about a JD 375

The JD375 is a good baler. The negative with a JD375 is the baler produces a bale 5' wide and 4' tall. Small operators like 4' wide and 5' tall bales better because they are easier to transport down the road when positioned side by side on a trailer.

Thanks. That's about all I could find out negative about them too. Since I'm only baling 50-75 acres and all the hay stays on the farm the bale size isn;t a problem. I do hat the 4x6 bales that I had once. Stupid things kept falling over in the wind and they were a pain in the butt to stack. I'ld prefer a 5x5, but for 3500 bucks beggers can;t be choosers.
 
That is the same baler that we have used since 1995. It has averaged 300 bales a year since then and the only trouble that we have had is has broke two belts in the past 3 years. We keep two spare belts (there are two different length belts on this baler) so this is still not a major problem. It is hard to grease the driveline by yourself though. It can be done but you look like you got in a fight with a grease gun and lost when you are done.
