We raised both of these heifers, they are not out of any show stock, but feel they are structerally pretty good. County and district fair is the end of September. My son showed the white one this spring and she was very green. I posted a picture of her at that time. I think she is coming along well.
The black baldie is out of the first heifer my daughter showed (another one we raised). This is the one we didn't even know was coming. We had taken her and another heifer out to my husbands sister's place to breed to their angus bull last June. We weren't expecting a calf at all from her and hadn't noticed her springing at all. Then on Oct 1 my daughter and I were out in the pasture and there she was with this calf. Talk about surprised! Anyway, we just weaned her and are fixing to start breaking her. Do you think her coloring will hurt her?
