My youngest granddaughter won her class last night with her steer.
Way to finish her senior year in high school.

To me the fact that it was a home raised steer means a lot. It wasn't a $10,000 bought calf.

Not this family!
My granddaughter works at a dairy after school and takes care of her own.
Even hauls them, that cost her dad a few dollars at first . I enjoyed every minute of it too.

The very first Houston Livestock show and Rodeo I went to ..maybe 1959...(was called the Houston Fatstock Show back then) Roy Rodgers/Dale Evans were the headliners, and was held (I think) in Sam Houston Coliseum.
