Horse trailer

Only have a 16' GN stock trailer with a center gate in it. Haul horses all the time in it and they do just fine. Tack has to either go in the back of the truck or in the neck of the trailer, horses also get hauled untied that way then can find what position is most comfortable for them.

I've been using a stock trailer with a center divider for a long time. Works good for me, but I think a stock trailer with a front tack room would be great if you're going to be hauling gear. Beats the heck out of dragging it out of the vehicle seats or pickup box every time and they'll stay better organized too. Depends really on your budget, and how much you're going to be using it. No reason to have a fancy slant load if it doesn't get used that often (but that's just me)

Ditto to chevytahoe except I tie my horses loosly. Sometimes I tye them on a slant and don't use the cut gate. Letting the horses decide where to go doesn't make sense to me.

Ditto, I always tie horses when hauling more than one and always tie them with a quick release knot.

Papa,

This is a little BP I own. The slats fold flat against the wall. The little tack area will hold all your granddaughters tack. It is pretty convenient to have it all ready to travel when you are.
