I gave my girls at the office a gift certificate to a restaurant in town and a card.

Nice bottle of hand and body lotion. The good stuff that comes from a specialty or department store. (Not Walmart!)
Most women do not buy them for themselves, but nice to get as a gift.

But be careful with the lotion....some names of them "COULD" be offensive.

Each a box of pecan chocolates from a local pecan gift store, they like to eat , who am I to judge. :lol2:

One of my friends has a little kid and does babysitting, I got her a nice book with 65 of the classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tales.

I've never given a gift card in my life.. I find they'd reflect on my character, either as that I don't know or care about the person enough to get them something I think they could like.. I mean why not just give cash and they can spend it to pay bills?
