horn training

Hi Folks...can anyone give me some advise on shaping horns?
I kept the horns on a nice Lin/Hereford heifer that is now ready for horn trimming/training. Horns are about 6 inches and just starting to curve upward and I would like to train them to that nice down & back curve. She is puppy dog gentle but has been getting a bit to pushy with the steers.

I have weights for my Herefords. They come in various weights and you might ask Bez for somemore insight as he is the one who helped me with mine.

I need to get some weights on a couple myself soon. Be sure to paint them with some sort of bright paint that is easy to see. Sometimes they rub them off in the lot.
