Hopefully this spreads like wildfire

They keep doing studies showing more and more kids and are basically revolting against the digital world. There will always be extremes but they are so emersed in it now that they are starting to burn out on it.

... and think how much money is being invested in some thing that down the road people may be against.

They have stopped them in our town also. They have lock boxes you put them in when you come to school and then you take them out at the end when you leave.

More parents are fighting it than kids. Just FYI. These parents that want to dress like their kids and hang out with their friends are the ones that don't want to cut that digital ambilical cord. Heaven forbid they have to actually get off their phone and do some work too.

Teachers also... they are pulling them out too in class.

I didn't realize it but Texas did a law too for no person communication devices. Thought it was just a district thing.
I haven't kept up with other states and assumed Arkansas was blazing the trail. I should have known, we ain't first at anything except inventing the toothbrush. If it'd been invented anywhere else it would've been called a teethbrush.

It just came out for the school year starting right now in Texas so it sounds like several states are all implementing it together.

Va also has implemented some no cell phone laws... I don't have any kids or grandkids or anything so haven't kept up with the particulars.. but I have read and heard where our Gov. Youngkin has been a big supporter of no cell phones in classes.
