A guy called me a few months ago and told me that he had heard about Hope Outdoors and that he had a couple of red stags that needed to be killed. Carl only had a few left from a small herd that his daddy had and he needed the pasture they were in for his cows so he wanted to give them to Hope Outdoors. I was glad to take his offer. When I told the guys who help me out with H.O. we all decided we needed to find some very special kids for this hunt. Just three days latter we heard about a 14 year old boy in the county next to us who has cerebral palsy and is also legally blind he had gotten beaten up at school by a guy 4 years older than him. We knew this was one of our hunters we contacted his family they jumped on our offer. Austin participated in one of our whitetail hunts in early December and killed his first deer so we felt like we were ready for the redstag and he did good.
Our other hunter was Job from Arkansas. Job is also 14 and had hunted with us before. His story is pretty long and complicated but to make it short he has had a double lung transplant.

Here is Austin's stag.
