101 is a 8yo 8 months bred

104 is a 10 yo 6 months She come from some very good blood lines, she was just weaned a nice bull calf, when pictured.

122 is a Daughter on 104, pictured here 9 months bred, she also just weaned a bull calf, when pictured.

123 is 6 months, also just weaned calf.

Ala curious how you rate these cows?

the top 2 older cows, look like they would do a decent job with the right bull..the bottom 2 are the result of not using one

Ala curious how you rate these cows?

I know there's a lot of age diff in those 2 and and 122 is near calving but if I read it right, 122 is daughter of 104. Sure seems to be a lot 104 didn't pass down to 122 in muscle and butt. 104 has more muscle and back qtr than a lot of BM bulls I see today--including mine.
I don't like 122 at all and 123 only a little better.

Her sire is a Synergey by a Painted Tiger Daughter. She has filled out quite a bit since that picture was taken, but still you get the general idea with her.

I am thinking of AI'ing 104 to Foundation Genetics, as discussed in another thread, I was looking at a Lasater Bull, that Ala liked. Because is 122 does not raise a good calf the cull she will be.
