He is a swimmer, the dogs just brought him out of the creek. :)

This pic was taken for the purpose of showing how my dogs help me, but when he came out and stood like that with the light and being wet it turned into a great shot of the bull. Here are some of the other pics.

And finally walking calmly to the gate. :)

I don't think that I have ever seen a bull swim before. Great dogs also.

NICE BULL.....
WHAT KIND OF BLOOD LINES?

Jim, thank you. He is just a commercial Angus from a long line of my own home raised commercial Angus bulls. What I can tell you is that his dam 234T is from a double bred Six Mile Connection 5R red carrier bull who was a bon view connection ankonian dynamo on top and beckton red angus on the bottom. Bred very similar to this 17 yr old cow below who has her 15th calf at side, a hell of a good strong bull calf, though she is a taller version. She is a testament to the irrelevance of some of my preferences because I never really liked her type, but after 15 calves with only ever a 48 day breeding season without a miss, good feet and a good udder I am starting to think she is a pretty good cow. :) :)

in cows....pretty is as pretty does...
looks like she is doing "pretty" good.

for the bull....I like him pretty well...looks like a meat making machine...

I always enjoy your pics! Great looking bull. I remember a couple years back you posted pics of your dogs bringing the herd, from some distance away, to you and they had to cross some deep water to get there. Always very nice pics!

Thanks for posting again,
Alan

WOW!
Here's a cow telling us what a cow should be, we need to listen to her rather than the show ring cows.

Nice looking bull and pics.

I saw a Char chase a Limo bull across a big pond one day. They had been fighting and when the Limo turned Char kept up the chase.

Great pictures Dylan! Outstanding bull also. Did you take the pictures or your daughter? She is an outstanding photographer.
