Just seen you own one. I've been thinking about getting my Appy mare bred in 07 to a TB. Basically looking for a colt with more leg and a bit more energy. Does this cross create a combination of hot/stubborn? Anything I should know about TB studs before I start shopping for one?
 
:lol: My app- throughbred is pretty mellow, he does have his moments where he will stare off into space and we say that he is having a "throughbred moment". The app blood tends to
keep them sane and sensible, the throughbred blood just gives them enough "hotness" to excel in speed events or jumping.
Mine is a little over 16 hands with alot of leg, long neck and
big ground covering stride. :heart: Look for a stud that is quiet and intelligent. Stay away from the excessive flighty
ones and the ones that seem spooky. ;-)
