Holliday?

If I am in a store and they refuse to use the actual name of the Holliday for whatever political reason, I will walk out and spend my nickels elsewhere. This is not a political statement but rather a fact. There will be no spoof checking Urban Legends this year. I will rely on my own eyes at the stores.

We need more good old fashioned Maw and Paw shops.

and what if there are several holidays all together in a period of time? What if (oh no) they are holidays with origins in differing religions?

If I was in retail sales in a diverse country like the US I sure as heck would use a generic "Happy Holidays" type of greeting. If nothing else to save on printing/labor costs. (could leave the decorations/sales signs up for a month or more)

Yes, if we were in another country, they wouldn't be tripping all over one another trying to be politically correct. Why should we? We celebrate Christmas. Or Hanukkah. Or Kwanzaa. I give up. What do we call it?

Spending a lot of nickels, where I choose to spend them. That is what the commercial part is about.

Right now it is donating to the food banks so that kids get to eat a good Thanksgiving and hopefully find tings to be thankful for. Next I hope that all kids have a good Christmas. Find an angel tree and feel good about yourself.
