Tilapia love pig crap. Waste from pig pen flowed into pond and in that pond was the biggest Tilapia I have ever seen.

Biggest carps I've took with a bow, came from the ponds by the pig farms. All fat. Few channel catfish are so deep bodied like sunfish but too much fat in the fillets.
 
We went to lunch today at Longhorns. My wife ate tilapia. I started to tell her about this post but I just ate my ribeye and stayed quiet!

Lol, it would be funny to see her reaction. My uncle in Florida shipped few wild caught tilapia fillets to me occasionally, and they're pretty good as smoked or grilled. Tastes different from farmed and imported tilapias. More fishy than liver or crappy flavor.
