My other half and I were talking about my schedule on the weekends coming up and I informed her of the auctions I am going too in the next few months and she called me a hoarder... I said lady you got to be kidding me she said how many tractors does one person need and pointed out the 2 tractors i bought that need minor repairs and I haven't done it yet and pointed out all the equip I have bought and never used lol I laughed and to add insult to injury she called me mr haney lol I do however sell tractors I fix up and use them as my winter projects and sell them in the spring. I guess Its a good thing she didn't see the tub grinder sitting behind a barn I got a few weeks ago lol :lol2:
I quickly got her out of my office and sent her on her way lol
 
You could alwasys go ahead and fix the tub grinder and I'll hide it at my place and you can come use it whenever you want.
 
Its an old grinder/mixer but sure that works for me as long as you come pick it up.. I took a few pics of some of my mr haney stuff
Tractors need injector pump rebuilds and grinder not sure said worked fine 4 years ago before stopped being used

Whoops I did say tub grinder lol I have had one on my mind for a while for my tree business and apparently it won't go away lol

Skyhigh, I see the old Ford. I have a 7600 Ford Row Crop model. I bought it new in 1976, the year I got married. Such a big tractor, I was so proud. No cab, does have what I think they called the remote clyinder. The clutch is out of it, has probably a million hours, been setting in the barn for 5 years. I bet if I filled it with fuel, bled the lines, charged the battery, it would start. Paint is gone, seat is gone, tires are bare, lites don't work, I think you get the picture.
Should I sell it for junk, or would you spend money on it? A lot of money, I'm sure. I am and do not have time to be a mechanic. I could get it painted for the price of the paint. BTW, I gave $16,600 for it and a four bottom plow. Whatta' ya' think? gs

Plumber that tractor I pictured is actually a old long but looks like the fords you are speaking of and i think had some of the same design work and features. I love tractors so my response would be fix it . Do you have time to fill it with fuel change fuel filter oil and bleed lines ? If so and it started up and ran fine I would change the clutch thats no biggie on a tractor with no cab.There is alot of guys out there that love working on tractors and would do it for a minimal fee as a project or some tractor mechanics doing side work. If there were tranny problems I would probably not mess with it. If you fixed it up would you keep it or sell it? I buy alot of older tractors repair them and sell them I wish I could keep everyone I bought but that wouldn't go over well.
 
No, I would keep it, it was the first tractor I owned. Runs really good, when I put it in the barn, I started it, dorve it to the driveway and called someone to haul it to the south place. Then I drove it into the barn. The clutch has just enough left to move it. What's it worth fixed up? Got the money, just wonder if it's worth it. gs
 
Plumber anything you have an attachment too is worth the money if you can afford it and make it happy. I have a mf 50 first tractor I learned to drive on which needs complete overhaul and I plan on doing that within next few years as well as my gpa's first farm truck which needs a complete build of everything its a 49 gmc 100 with original title my great grandfathers horse drawn equipment Will I completely restore them yes is it going to be done is it worth it probably not but sentimental wise well worth it to me. now for monetary value I have seen them 6,000 up to 10,000 at auctions they are tough old tractors that people still use and love. Hey if you don't want it give it to me ill put a clutch in it no problem lol
 
Don't feel bad, The guy that I bought my place from had seventy-three tractors, four pickups, and nine cars aside from their daily drivers and it all sat on one acre with the house and barns :shock: . Everything that had parts available from ANY source ran like a charm. Those that he couldn't get parts for were still valuable as collectors items.

Yea it runs but the injector pump went bad and I am having it rebuilt should be up and running and forsale by the end of the month. I paid 700.00 for the tractor. I have seen them sell from 4,000-5,500 out here. I think they are a good tractor myself. Do you have a 2020 or 2030 now?
