Couple of years ago a fella I know had a heifer born that couldn't put her back legs down. It was like she was front end heavy and her back legs would just barely touch the ground. She couldn't get around that well and he thought that if he could get some weight on her that it would weigh down the back end enough so she could walk long enough for the freezer. However, it didn't work and they ended up putting her down. Anyone have any idea what this could have been? The heifer was completely normal except for this.
