high school reunions

Help Support CattleToday:

I graduated with only 35 others, and we had a 10th and a 25th. It was always good to see them again, and if I had not gone, they'd have made my ears burn. We kept the price down around $25 so that we didn't eliminate anyone.
The girl I prized the most has ripped through 3 husbands, 1 redneck and 2 mds. Weighs a good 75 more than she did. But, my eyesight is failing and she still looks hot. I still have my hair, she still has cleavage. She's still the same shade of blond. Cool.
My parents graduated from a school which has been closed. They have an all-school reunion every year on the Sat. before Easter. They enjoy each other, although there aren't a lot of them left alive.

The last one I attended was interesting. The good looking Heifers had all turned to fat Cows, and the plow girl looking ones looked like a million bucks.I remember one boy hired a gal from an escort service to go with him and claim to be his Wife and told everyone he was some flying Ace from the Gulf War. Turned out he was really a manager at KFC.

What tipped them off, did you leave your "Assistant Manager" name tag on???

Went to the husbands 10th. Some classmate began hitting on him, even though he announced he was married and expecting his first child. He didn't tell me til we were leaving; never knew he could back up a truck that fast while pulling me back in the truck. Can we say jealous?
I really enjoy mine.
See bold above. ;-)

Just wish I had known back then. :dunce:

Doesn't really bother my wife. She says I am like that little dog that chased sports cars. Wouldn't know what to do with it if he caught one.

We had a guy bring some Asian chick. He was the ultra geek in school and not just because of his looks but his personality, as well. There was something wrong with that boy. I felt sorry for him. But not sorry enough to go to prom with him when he asked. Anyhoo, there he was with this "Me love you long time" looking girl. We didn't know what to say.

The best was a good ol boy, used to show pigs, kinda chubby, crew cut. Nice boy. Anyway, he turned up looking for all the world like Alan Jackson's twin. He walked by and pinched my behind! I didn't quite know what to make of that, as I was married and all.

That's just an Italian way of saying hello! Considered by some to be a compliment

Yep the other day I got a flyer for my 25th class reunion in hte mail, I probably won't go, for alot of the same reasons everyone else listed, but also because its far away, and the farm and all.

They usually make up a list of graduates and what they are doing now, I do get a kick out of that, and I may email a few just for kicks.

As some of you may know, I just had my 20th. We also had a 10th and 15th. I always enjoy seeing everyone again. I had a class of 25 kids so we all knew each other very well. A lot of us are still living in the area too. 19 of our 25 attended and one had died a couple years ago so a very good turnout.
We only paid 10 bucks for supper, we all agreed it was really just about talking, not a band or fancy supper.

Now that is very funny Ryder. Are you sure you are not a stand up comic in real life?

I tried that Italian story a few times. Eventually the girls will pretty much slap the Italian right out of a fella. Fun while it lasted though.

I forgot to mention that at the first one my highschool arch enemy came up and said "we haven't been in a fight in a while" and my reply was "all we got to do is go out side and fix that". He didn't bite, but at that time I was still up for it. I have grown old and smarter ..... maybe. He really ain't that bad a guy today. We were just kids back then.[/quote]

We're having our 40th this summer. I sure wish my old arch-enemy would show up. Probably won't tho he's wanted in a couple states including Colorado. Too bad he can't come, I sure would like to give him a little present I've been saving for a while.

I hated highschool- :frowns: :cry2: -I wouldn't come into Elgin for YEARS because I might see someone I went to school with. :devil2: . Now they're so old I don't reconise any of them:)

Been to all of mine, hardest deal is getting a leave for everyone from the penitentiary LOL :lol2: :lol2:
I enjoyed everyone of mine, it is sad to hear about ones that died from last time we had one though. I did not realize how crazy we were back then until I remember all the things we did. It amazes me any of us have lived this long

Haven't ever been to one. Just don't keep in touch with those folks anymore. Not that high school was bad or anything, just too much time and distance.

What I really would like to do is go to Angies high school reunion up in Alaska....Ah the stories that could be had there!!!! 8)

Do you still have to wear that pork chop around your neck?

I quit going because I kept wondering what I was doing there with all those old folks. :???:

No, your not near as bad to look at since your accident so, I don't need the bag anymore. :cowboy:

I went to mine and I have decided I must be getting that disorder that causes you to not recognize faces! I know it has been a very long time but I only recognized about six people. Good grief.

I went to 5 year and 10 year. Don't remember much about either. Beer was free and I was trying to make sure I got my money's worth.

Most that were ostentatious pricks in HS still were and the good ol' guys were still the best.

hhmmm...this interests me. i LOVE my hs class. i cant imagine never wanting to see them again. like when my parents had there reuinions and didnt go i thought they were crazy not to want to see how everybody's turned out. i mean, you spent alot of your life with them. i know i cant wait to see how everybody turns out 10 years down the road. my parents say i'll change my mind about that tho. i guess we'll see.

I'm thinking the same way as you. I was just thinking about reunions the other day and really got to wondering what it would be like. I'm definitely going for sure!
