His little feller is more Angus than anything else, with a little bit of Hereford and maybe a bit of Longhorn from several generations back.
2 days old, the mother is a mottled face BWF second calf cow, still have her mother and grandmother (for now).
Got this picture as I was watching the cows and calves go out into a fresh pasture and this one was lagging behind. The donkey was behind it a little ways. I’d like to think she was waiting and watching over the calf but who knows.
The face and of this calf was priceless as I was walking toward it.
