Merry Christmas indeed, Bah, humbug. Anyone who goes about with the words, Merry Christmas on his lips should be boiled in his own pudding and buried with a stake of holly through his heart. Humbug I say, humbug. :lol: Seriously though thanks Macon.

Just a side note, everyone look at all of your Christmas cards you recieve this year and see how many actually say Merry Christmas and how many say something like seasons greeting or happy holidays? Maybe just a soapbox for me but I want my Christmas cards right. :mad: Not politically correct. :mad: It sounds like a radical position but this is one of the ways that the word CHRIST is slowly being taken out of the season and our lives. Making it nothing more than a shopping & gift giving time. :x (if it happens slow enough and over a period of time before long it will be gone and nobody will notice) Sorry if this is getting political, I don't mean it that way. :(

Anybody else notice this or is it just me?
 
We are having a pretty good shake up here in Tennessee with all the happy holidays,seasons greetings, holiday tree, holiday cards. I hear that about 94% of the united states celebrates Christmas. My question is: How does such a small number of people get so much recognition and cause such drastic changes. I don't know one single person who agrees with this crap. Who are they? Do you personally know any of these people?

No I don't personally know any but to answer you question about how does such a small number get so much recognition? I'll get my hand spanked for this one but the answer lies in the liberal biased media we have here in America. They have an agenda that is constantly being crammed down our throats and unless more people speak up about it that small number is going to continue to look bigger than it really is. Sorry again about the politics. :oops:

i haven't looked at my cards yet or sent ne yet, but here at the high school, the christmas tree they decorate can no longer be called a christmas tree. it is now the "Spririt Tree". meaning, they are decorating it in the schools colors instead of for christmas. i'm not sure what changed that, but.... i hope they go back to a christmas tree. not that i go to the h.s., but ya know. its the principle of the thing.

The same things gone on here in Canada to, instead of signs saying Merry Christmas, they say Only 11 more shopping days till Christmas, whats up with that. It seems it has went from a holiday to how much money can they get people to spend.
 
The owner of the company I work for along with several other employees is Jewish, but we're still decorationg and having a Christmas party. If people don't want to celebrate Christmas then don't celebrate, but please don't ruin it for those of os that do celebrate!
