Alice, have you ever used probios dispersible powder ? I bought some awhile back. I have the paste too. But what I was wondering ... Do you think it would hurt putting some in the calves bottle ?
I use the powder for older calves mixed in with their feed. Which I can see a big difference in the calves that eat it,than the ones that don't.
 
I can't imagine that it would hurt a thing...as long as it mixes well. I've even put the paste in bottles. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to do it at all.

I'm not Alice, but I've put the powder in goat kids' bottles and it worked just fine.
 
Well I just wanted to make sure. I did mix some in the bottle and it didn't clump or anything. So here's hoping it works.
It's for that big calf we had the other day. My gosh he seems hungry all the time. I feed him 4 -2 qt bottles a day. He nibbles at his feed and hay. So I 'm hoping this will help him start eating more grain.
