I find it ridiculous.. Sure I'm for animal rescue, but they estimate $40,000 has been spent on this steer... And it'll be a companion animal for kids and veterans or something... Are you telling me that none of the kids and veterans could have used portions of the $40k and had a cat as a companion?
Who was it on these boards that had a heifer calf with a frozen hoof?, I know that was a pedigreed animal and far nicer looking.
