It is 27 (82f)degrees here and has been beautiful all month no frost yet , but I see that some of my calves are already "wooling" up for winter and that scares the bejesus out of me .

Yeah that one is a little bit "wooly" not much we can do about him though, except a slow roasting oven! ;-)

I think I like the Herf steer in your other thread better than this one. But I think you'll be happiest with the one with the best disposition.

This bum calf is out of a first year heifer that died at his birth. Never got the full story from the guy I got him from but he is a pretty nice bull; for the moment. Going to be de-nutted this Sunday.

Got some pics of the second calf we have picked for a 4-H steer.
