My other son is five and he is almost the same but doesn't stay out as much as his brother but close. I will come home and they will be out in the yard or pasture bear foot or no clothes on or riding a 4 wheeler naked or something that even surprises me. I'm raising them to be the men that can rebuild the world that their great granddaddy helped build and is being torn apart now. I hope I'm successful.

With a good attitude like that, you will be successful. The CCC is coming back. Back in the 40's, those men built and rebuilt many things. The difference is the new up and coming need will be the NEW CCC, Constitutional Conservative Christians. When this country falls flat on its face, and is desparate for intelligent hard working men and women to rebuild, it'll be your kids and mine leading the way. Most folks look at me like I'm some freak, having 6 kids, home schooling, no TV just good family values oriented movies, insist that chores are done, no harsh video games, etc. etc. I tell people I'm investing in the future of this nation, and it is not an easy job to do what we do, but we do it because we know it is the right thing to do. I know pride is not necessarily a good thing, but I am satisfied I've done my part in adding 6 U.S Citizens to the voting rolls. Your kids and my kids will be among those that will be capable of lifting this derelict system up after the impending crash. I am neither an optimist nor pesimist on the future. I consider myself a realist, and it dont look pretty right now. However I am proud of my children. They are all better young men and women that my wife and I were at that age. They have a future to contend with that you and I couldn't have imagined at that age, or maybe we ignored it. Whatever the reason, they are the people that will have to deal with this moreso that ourselves, and people like yourself are now more than ever needed to bring these young people into this screwed up world with the knowledge, background, and tools they will need to succeed. Prayers to you and yours Jed, and for what it's worth a wish for some luck doesn't hurt either.

Thanks Ouchita, I also have a almost 19 year old daughter that's at Fayetteville and she is very conservative and takes her religion very seriously. I warned her how liberal things would be when she got to school and she has held her own. She can even work a thermostat the right way and gets mad when other girls work one the way a woman usually works one :lol:
