what would make the best cross for replacement cows.hereford and red angus or hereford and gelbvieh.which one will have the best heterosis? also going to bred them back to a black bull for a white faced calf.would a angus bull work best or some other black breed work better?

My most productive purchased cows are simi/angus or simi/hereford. Just need to avoid the big crosses and the poor milking hereford lines.
My best looking heifers are shorthorn/balancer. We will see how they do as cows.
I have purchased a lot of hereford cows recently, and I had a BA bull on them. Nice wf calves, but not as growthy or as muscled up as shorthorn/balancer. Next year I will move to balancer bull on herefords.
