Hereford bull

Never have bought or used one before... What to look for or problems that are more likely w this breed?

Fly control to prevent pinkeye is the only drawback I'm aware of. I like mine.

To me, it's all about what your main plan is as far as calves and cows. I run mine on my herd of mature black cows so I get Baldie calves, although mine throws a alot of soilds, with the Hybrid Vigor as well as some good females. Another thing I like is how docile all the calves tend to be. My young herd gets A.I.ed then cleaned up with my Black Balancer bull, then go to the Hereford the next year and from there on out. B&G
