Ok, I can't help myself...I'll bite...if you are simply curious, the answers are:
Hobbie or job? This is both.
Spouse helps by making the actual income here, does not usually go through the gates unless an emergency or medical issue arises. My only child, a daughter is still rather too young to physically help, but is more then willing.
3 physical farms. this main farm is 169 acres, the other farms are smaller.
The farm we partner with is approx. 800 + acres.
Breeds? mostly Angus, some mixed, some dairy heifers, a few real odd balls for specimins only. approx 50 head here, and almost 300 at partnered farm.
One employee of hispanic origin at the large farm.
Commercial herd........ the butcher has yet to ask us for the registration papers for any of the few we have had. Although we do prefer bulls to be papered.

OK>>>>IF YOU ARE THE IRS...............the following are the answers to your questions.
Job or hobbie? I have no Job or hobbies, I am a live in dad, a house husband, although I once was asked to model for the TV add for Feed the Children......We were the ones that had the house stuck on the side of the mountain, and the 6 dogs running under the porch dargging on of the smaller kids around like it was a bone. I watch TV all day waiting for the wife to come home with the very modest paycheck....errr...I mean DSS check..
Spouse or children ? I have a wife and 12 children. I also have to support at least 6 illegitimate children not only my children, with our meager income.
Breed ? Breed of what? we have no livestock here, we can't afford them. If you.are asking for breed of people, we are American and Australian (Pommie) decent.
If you are asking if I breed? yes I breed prodigously, but I recently got neutered.... see above for evidence of potency ie: dependant write offs.
Workers? We cannot afford no workers besides the wife.. why would we need workers? we live in a 2 room shack, our outhouse is full and about to slide off it's foundations. Tax deduction for a new outhouse?
Commercial or registered? Are we still talking about the outhouse? yeah we use commercials....but her we call them advertisements, sale papers ..usually come inside the sunday paper...prefer the glossy coloured papers, wipes easier. Of course we don;t buy them, we can't afford to. We walk into town on Mondays an pull them out of peoples trash cans' while we are looking for some food. May as well kill tow birds with one stones as they say...a trip for food and outhouse wipes all in one trip.
Although sometimes we hit a jack pot, and find some used Kleenex in a can once in a while ( maybe some one had a cold?).......aaaahhhh so much softer then newspapers....and who ever leaves the snot on the kleenex has no idea it feels like aloe against the butt. ;-) But we are gratefull anyways. As they could say....'one man's snot rag is another man's toilet paper with lotion'
Glad i could help Radi
