Help with Pricing

Hey guys,

I am helping out a friend who is going through a divorce. He has to put a dollar amount on the herd he had in May of 2010. The easiest way to do it would be what the price per pound would have been from a sale barn at that time. So I was wondering if anyone could remember or give me an idea of what an adult cross-bred beef bull would have brought at the sale barn in May of 2010.

around .60-.70 cents per lb.so if he was a normal full grown bull probably around a $1,000-$1,200 after charges and commission.now if this is needed for a divorce then he was not worth much at all and she dont have a dime coming.

If there are any sale barns in his area, I'm sure they could help with info from their market reports. Our local barns publish them a couple times a month and I'm sure they keep detailed records.
