Hi, I have a Holstein calf that's ten months old and weighs approx. 510 lbs. She's been grain fed and is comfortable around many other animals. She's very friendly and would probably make a good show heifer. Does anyone know about what she's worth? Any help is appreciated.

Thank you, Donna

You can call your local sale barn or check craigslist for your area to compare prices. Unless she is registered, she can't be shown.
Price depends on where you live.

Also most holstein heifers that get sold off a dairy are free martins. There is a huge difference in the value of a free martin and a fertile heifer. So you need to find out if she is a free martin.

A free martin is the heifer out of a mixed gender set of twins. They are non-fertile the majority of the time.
