HELP calf dying?

Purchased three calfs yesterday, got them home they trotted around a bit gave them their bottles and everything looked normal. Went out this morning saw one calf walking around the other two are laying down in the field. One of them started to have seizures and eventually died the other would not stand at all and would not take a bottle. It's mouth was like it was frozen shut we pryed it open enough and forced some electrolytes down and it eventually could stand with our help getting it up after about ten minutes of standing there it started to walk around the pasture we watched long enough to poop to see what it looked like and it came out solid. So we left it be.(By the way the other cow is doing fine walking around and cant get enough of whatever comes out of the bottle. So we come back a few hours later and it's down again still will not take a bottle a nose is dry,will not stand,eyes keep rolling in back of head.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Call the vet now or you might have two dead calve's and keep the other one away from it if it is not already too late.

They sound poisoned. I'd remove the healthy calf till the cause is known. Battery (lead poison) maybe?

Definitely separate them...definitely call the vet. Definitely keep electrolytes going...and milk. Whatever it is sounds really bad. Also, give probios.

I remember one of our calves locked it jaws shut...and it didn't make it. Doesn't mean yours won't, however. Also, I read that big solid poop from a baby calf can be a precursor to scours...that's why I'm saying push the electrolytes, but don't neglect the milk.

Again, call the vet.

They can get tetanus which causes lock jaw as it would in an untreated human..

how old are these calves? did they come from the same source?

Well it's 11:30pm just left him he's standing up on his own now and taking a bottle.(hopefully the worst is over). This may not be the right solution but it's sunday and vet is closed we took liquid gel advil caps and mixed them into hot water and took a syringe a forced it down his throat. He broke the fever and about an hour and half later showed signs of wanting to drink.

Meningitis? That can cause them to throw their heads back and seizure. The eyes roll back in their heads and they stiffen. When the seizure is over they almost seem normal, almost. Kept alive long enough they can get a film over their eyes, almost like they are going blind. Does he press his head against things? Bacterial meningitis is 100% fatal. Sometimes though for other forms antibiotics can be beneficial but not always. Here's some info on it:

Phone the vet ASAP and let us know.
I would separate the healthy calf, always the first step when you are unsure what the problem is.

Did you ever take their temp? High fevers can make them have seizures and die.
